Remtech has developed a proprietary modular wastewater treatment system that converts conventional rental FRAC TANKS into temporary treatment plants during plant cleaning, repairs or expansions. Remtech’s FRACAIR MAGNETIC AERATION SYSTEM provides adjustable airflow rates and retention times to create aerated grit chambers, equalization/mixing basins, coagulation/ flocculators, clarifiers, and sludge thickeners for biological or physiochemical treatment. Remtech's Frac Tank Magnetic Aeration System FRACAIR converts Frac Tanks and other steel tanks into temporary Treatment Systems.

Multiple frac tanks of different sizes are connected in series or parallel. Remtech’s FRACAIR system is quickly installed in 10,000 and 21,000 gallon fracs through 20" manholes with flexible trunk and branch lines with diffuser clusters.  FRACAIR is held in place by 80 pound magnets.

Remtech also offers a FRACAIR system that has counter weights to anchor aeration systems in concrete basins, poly tanks or lined basins such as Modutanks. Inlet and outlet piping and control valves hydrostatically balance influent and effluent flowrates for up to ten (10) frac tanks connected in parallel for flowrates up to 200,000 gpd.  

Multistage regenerative or rotary lobe blowers supply air if plant air is not available.  Piping materials of construction range from PVC to stainless steel depending on temperature and wastewater compatibility.  Fine or coarse diffuser configurations reduce Hp requirements over mechanical mixing by up to 80% per frac tank.  Blowers can be designed to aerate individual or multiple tanks.

For higher flowrates greater than 200,000 gpd, FRACAIR systems can be installed in larger steel tanks anchored by magnets or membrane lined tanks secured by weights that overcome buoyancy effects.

Advanced treatment options that can be added include, serpentine neutralization, multi-media filtration, carbon filtration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, disinfection, dissolved air floatation, sludge dewatering, or other advanced wastewater treatment systems.
