PROBLEM
Remtech was authorized by a major railroad to construct secondary containment and pollution prevention and control systems at railyards in eight states.
SOLUTION
Pollution prevention and secondary containment facilities constructed or installed by Remtech consisted of:

COST/BENEFITS
50,000 lb reinforced precast concrete underflow weir boxes and bases were fabricated at Remtech's facility in Atlanta and shipped up to 600 miles. The pre-fabricated boxes were lowered into excavations inside trench boxes. Fabrication of pre-cast structures was considerably less expensive than
forming and installing onsite.
